2019 Wine Industry IMPACT Awards

The 2019 Wine Industry Impact Awards were held last week. The event celebrates the impact of value chain partnerships on the capability and competitiveness of Australian Wine Producers. There are awards for 8 different categories, including a Start Up category which had Roseanne sitting on the judging panel.

The 7 winning businesses will be part of an accelerator program which is aimed at making South Australia the global hub for grape and wine tech businesses. The FOMENT program is funded by the South Australian Government and will be run out of the Tonsley Innovation Hub.

2019 Start Up Award Winner

The winner of the 2019 Start Up award was Taglog. Taglog provides an integrated platform with field devices for data logging, capturing the work process as it occurs, including a time and GPS stamp. This innovative, digitised work management system provides accurate and transparent information on vineyard tasks, allowing for greater cost efficiencies, goal setting and controls.

vinCreative has developed a novel and unified software management program that helps small to medium producers more effectively target and market products, better understand cellar door preferences and trends, provide new distribution options and enhance customer relationships.
